DELIVERIES IN FRANCE

 

  • When will I receive my order?

At Archiduchesse, we try to deliver as quickly as possible!
If you order before 12 noon, it is generally shipped on the same day (unless the premises are flooded, the coffee machine has broken down or there is a computer bug); otherwise it will leave the following day.
It then takes 48 to 72 hours for deliveries in France (if La Poste is not on strike or other such problem…)

 

  • What delivery choices are there?

You have a choice of three options: delivery to a pick-up point, home delivery, or express delivery via Chronopost.
> Delivery to a Colissimo pick-up point - €5.50
Choose your pick-up point from 8,000 pick-up points in France (Post office, Relais Pickup or Pickup Station). The package will be held there for 10 working days (or 3 days in the Pickup Station).
Delivery to a Colissimo pick-up point is free from €46 of purchases.

> Home delivery - €6
The package will be directly delivered to your home, or you will receive a note informing you that the postman has tried to deliver. From €80 of purchases, delivery requires a signature .
Home delivery is free from €46 of purchases.

> Chronopost Express 24h - €11
D+1 delivery before 1 pm if you ordered before 12 noon.
D+1 delivery after 1 pm if you ordered after 12 noon.

 

  • I’ve received a delivery notification from La Poste, what do I do?

You have 15 days (10 working days) to collect your package from your Post office or pick-up point. After this, the package will be sent back to our warehouse. But don’t panic!

Either you can send us an email asking us to send it again, or we will call you to find out what you want to do.

 

  • I haven’t received my package, what shall I do?

If you still haven’t received your package, here are a few tips:

  • First, check your letter box.
  • Then, go to your Post Office with your ID and the package tracking number to see if your package is there.

If after that your package has still not shown up, contact us by telephone or email so that we can sort the situation out quickly.

  

 

DELIVERIES IN EUROPE AND THE REST OF THE WORLD

 

  • When will I receive my order?

At Archiduchesse, we try to deliver as quickly as possible!
If you order before 12 noon, it is generally shipped on the same day (unless the premises are flooded, the coffee machine has broken down or there is a computer bug); otherwise it will leave the following day.
It then takes between 72 hours and 1 month depending on the country of delivery (roughly one week for Europe and from 10 days for the rest of the world).

 

  • What delivery choices are there?

To receive your package abroad, there is only one choice: home delivery:
> €6 for European countries (free when you spend at least €46 on the site)
> €8 for the rest of the world (free when you spend at least €50 on the site)

 

  • Which countries do you deliver to?

In Europe: Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Spain, Estonia, Finland, Mainland France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, the Netherlands, Portugal, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, United Kingdom, Sweden and Switzerland.

In the rest of the world: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Israel, Japan, Lebanon, New Zealand, Russia, Turkey and USA.

 

PAYMENT

  • How can I pay for my order?

You have different possibilities:
- by bank card (Visa, MasterCard) > directly on the site
- by Paypal > directly on the site
- by cheque > send to Archiduchesse: ARCHIDUCHESSE - 7, rue Ferdinand Buisson - 92110 Clichy

The cheque may take several weeks to clear and therefore the order will not be sent immediately.

 

RETURNS, EXCHANGES & REFUNDS

  • How do I return an item?

You have 14 days after receiving your order to return your products in exchange for a refund if they are not what you want.
We can only refund you if certain conditions are met; otherwise, we cannot guarantee a refund: the products must still be labelled, unworn and unwashed.

 Follow these steps for a refund:

1- Send the items back to:

2- Send with your items the invoice or delivery note, indicating which items are being returned.

3- If the items are in good condition, you will be quickly refunded.

 

  • Are there any conditions to meet in order to return items?

Yes, there are three essential conditions :
- The products must still have their labels
- The products must not have been worn
- Do not wash the products if you wish to return them

 

  • How can I change the size?

You ordered the wrong size and your order is already on its way? Don’t worry!

You can return the products to us, as long as they still have their labels, have not been worn or washed. We will exchange the product for another in the same product category and for the same value.

2- Send with your items the invoice or delivery note, indicating which items you want to change, and the required size

3- As soon as we have received and checked the products in our warehouse we will proceed with the exchange.

 

  • Is it possible to change different products?

For example, you want to change a product for a more expensive one. Unfortunately, we cannot do this.
So, you will need to return the products in question to us in exchange for a refund and then order again on our website.
If you want a less expensive item, just return your item and we will send you the new one and refund the difference.

 

  •  I received an order which isn’t mine, or there are items missing from my order. What do I do?

Oops! It can happen. It just proves that we aren't robots. Error is human !
In this case, send us an email to contact@archiduchesse.com, along with photos of your order (ideally with the barcode visible).
We will naturally pay for shipping fees to return the “unwanted” socks to us and we will send your order or the missing items to you at once.

 

PRODUCTS

  • I’m not sure about the size… Which size should I order?

We know that choosing the right size is essential for your socks to feel comfortable!  
If you size from 36 to 41/41.5, then we recommend you order size 36/41.
If, however, you size 42 or 46, then the 42/46 is the right size for you.
Contact us if you need more information.

  • How long do the socks last?

The life of your socks depends on how you use them!
We recommend you follow the care instructions (wash at 30°C, wash inside-out and do not put them in the tumble dryer) and remember to cut your toenails! If you do this, our socks will last at least two years!

  • How should I care for my socks?

It is essential to take good care of your socks to keep the best foot forward!  
Under each product description, we have created specific care instructions for the different categories.
In general:
> follow the care pictograms on the sock packaging (wash at 30°C or 40°C depending on the fabric)
> wash inside-out
> never tumble dry

 

  • Where are your products made?

Archiduchesse makes it a point of honour to propose 100% French-made products! Our socks are made in the little village of Les Cars in the Limousin region by Broussaud textiles, which has been knitting socks and tights since 1938!

Our Women’s tights are made in the Cévennes, in the village of Saint Bauzille de Putois, by the family firm Sotexmi.

And the latest additions to the family, the espadrilles, come from the historical stronghold of espadrilles: Mauléon in South-West France.
