The most suitable material for warm socks for men
It is true that the wool is often acclaimed as the material par excellence forwinter, particularly for its insulating qualities and its feeling of warmth. But its qualities also have its faults. And yes, one product in wool can cause a feeling of “overheating” anything but pleasant to wear!
So, at Archiduchesse, we offer you lisle thread socks or in cotton. Men's socks or socks for women, comfort is guaranteed!
The cotton makes the sock breathable and effectively absorbs moisture. It adapts to all skin types, but especially to all feet (sensitive feet, big feet and even with hooked feet!)
Choosing the right stem height to cope with the cold
To not to be cold, one of the golden rules is to choose the stem height carefully. The upper corresponds to the height of the sock. In winter or autumn, we advise you to opt for high socks for complete coverage of the foot down to the knee. Leave your calves warm!
The mid-low/high sock allows perfect insulation of the feet and legs, a good maintenance and effectively blocks strong winds!

Our De Luxe socks, the stars of our collections, are made from 100% French lisle thread. The Scottish thread ensures warmth, comfort and limits perspiration and friction (no more bad ones smells and the light bulbs). From the heat and breathability, yes ladies and gentlemen. A real Swiss army knife, but Scottish (well almost) ! The best thing about this material is that it adapts to all seasons and all temperatures.
In terms of height, De Luxe socks are socks rising to below the knee.
